1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address via Google Sign-In. We also collect practice session data (questions answered, scores, and timing) to power your personalized study experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to provide and improve SAT Sage — including adaptive question selection, performance tracking, streak and mastery calculations, and the leaderboard. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage

Account and session data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database. Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth. Local browser storage (localStorage) is used to cache practice history and preferences on your device.

4. Third-Party Services

SAT Sage uses the following third-party services: Google (authentication), Firebase (auth infrastructure), and Pusher (real-time multiplayer). Each service has its own privacy policy governing data it processes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and session data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

6. Children's Privacy

SAT Sage is intended for students aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
